Groom's Checklist - Months Prior to the Wedding

9 to 6 Months Prior

• Choose Your Best Man. Name: _____________________________
• Choose Your Ushers. (The standard is one usher per every 50 guests invited.)
• Compile a List of Your Own Guests.
• Have Your Family Compile a List of Theirs. (Reserve Isles for them.) (Once a list has been compiled, simply enter it into "Seating Arrangement" and it will take care of the rest. Also, remember you may always add or delete guests at any time. This ensures that the planning of your wedding is up to date at all times.)

6 to 3 Months Prior

• Plan Honeymoon. (If you plan on leaving the country, check that passports and visa's are current.)
• Select Your Formal Wear.
• Select Wedding Transportation. (Anything from a Stretch Limo to an Elegant Rolls Royce.)
• Find a New Place to Live. (If Applicable.)

8 to 3 Weeks Prior

• Reserve Block of Hotel Rooms for your out-of-town Guests.
• Coordinate with Fiancé on a Date to Get Marriage License.
• Final Fittings for You and Your Attendants.
• Pick Up Wedding Rings.
• Purchase Garter. (Optional)
• Plan a Date With Fiancé to Take Formal Portrait. (Usually included in the Photographers Package.)
• Purchase Gifts for Your Ushers.
• Notify Best Man, Ushers and Family of the Date, Time and Location of the Rehearsal Dinner.
• Notify Best Man, Ushers and Family of the Time and Location of where pictures will be taken.
• Purchase Ketubah.
